The group of Neurodynamics and Clinical Psychology, of the University Institute for Research in Health Sciences (IUNICS) at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), and Fundación FF are organizing the fourth edition of the International Symposium for the Study of Chronic Pain and Fibromyalgia (FIBROSYMPOSIUM2013). This symposium will be held in Palma de Mallorca on 18-19 of July 2013.

  • Submission of abstracts

Submission of abstracts for poster session at the symposium will be through easychair.com, but before submitting an abstract, you should read the instructions for sending both abstract and poster.

Point on your agenda the deadline for abstracts: 15 June 2013!

  • Important dates

    15 June 2013: abstract deadline.

30 June 2013: early bird registration deadline.

    18-19 July 2013: FibroSymposium2013.

This symposium aims to provide an update on basic and applied research of the pathophysiological mechanisms, diagnosis and treatment, as well as technological development achieved in the study of chronic pain and fibromyalgia in recent years, so it is especially aimed to researchers and health professionals, but is also open to patients and the general public. The symposium will consist of six plenary lectures (given by international and national experts), three symposia (that will address clinical aspects and recent advances in research of chronic pain and fibromyalgia), and one poster session (open to abstracts submission). This year, this simposium will be supplemented by an on-line platform (lectures, discussion forums, etc.), not requiring physical attendance, reducing registration fees and other associated costs.
